Congratulations to Anita Flores, who has been nominated as our Caregiver of the Month for September. Anita has been working at Home Assist Health since January of 2016, but had years of experience prior, as she took care of several family members before joining our organization. Anita currently takes care of her son, who suffered an unfortunate accident eight years ago but extends herself beyond the duties of a mother and a caregiver to assure that her son has everything he needs. She works tirelessly and selflessly to make sure that her son is cared for.
Anita is a dutiful mother and caregiver. She says she recognizes that her son’s life remains within the four walls of his room, so she compassionately works day and night to give him the best quality of life she can. Whether she is personally cranking his bed up and down 8 times a day, cutting his hair, or helping him bathe she is committed to her caregiving profession 24/7. She is so grateful to still have her son and recognizes how valuable home care has been for him. So much so, that if taking care of her son was not a full-time responsibility, she would absolutely help another person and give back with her time and abilities. Anita is incredibly selfless and encompasses every meaningful value of our organization. We are so proud to recognize her for her commitment to excellent care. Thank you, Anita!
