Congratulations to Syenthia Battiest, who has been nominated as our Caregiver of the Month for October. Syenthia has been working at Home Assist Health since July of 2014 but has been a self-described people person all of her life. Prior to working for Home Assist Health, she spent 15 years working with children for the city of Phoenix and has a real passion for helping those who need it. She says, “caring and loving individuals who need it is extremely important because it really does improve their quality of life and I am thankful I get to do that every day”.
Syenthia has worked with the same member since she started working with us eight years ago and has spent thousands of hours putting compassion into action in her member’s home. The member, who is a close family member of Syenthia’s, has benefited greatly from her constant presence in her life and home. When Syenthia gets some time for herself she loves to go out for some yummy food, dance, watch a movie, or go shopping. In fact, many of our staff affectionately call her “Miss. Diva”, due to her great fashion sense. We are so lucky to employ people like Syenthia and are proud to recognize her for her commitment to excellent care.
