Congratulations to Alice Sanchez, who has been selected as our Caregiver of the Month for March! Alice has been a caregiver since 1999 with Comfort Care and was part of the transition to Home Assist Health in 2014 when HAH opened. She originally became a caregiver when her son had an accident and survived a gunshot wound to the head. The case manager came to the house and informed her that she could become a caregiver and get paid for it. She said she took the classes and has been a caregiver ever since. Alice said that she likes being a caregiver because she likes to help other people and give them her time. She said it makes her feel good to know that she is helping them.
In her downtime, Alice likes to go shopping at Walmart, Dollar General and Game Stop. She likes to go out to eat at restaurants like Denny’s, Subway and Little Caesars. She has also started crafts with her son like painting and ceramics. She also has enjoyed embroidery and quilting in the past and her favorite color is orange.
