Homemade Fruit Popsicles

You can stay cool, get creative AND be healthy all at the same time with these fun popsicles.

The first ingredient is blueberries. Yes, actual fresh fruit! You can also use any other favorite fruit if blueberries aren’t your thing.  Try any berry, cherries, pineapple or maybe mango for some different flavors.  Blend the fruit on a puree setting to get juice smoothie consistency.

Add Greek yogurt to the berries, but don’t blend just yet.  Add a little liquid sweetener, agave or honey. You don’t need much, just a little something to sweeten up the tart berries and yogurt. If you’re using a sweeter fruit like dark sweet cherries, you can reduce the amount of liquid sweetener. Just go by your preferred taste. To create a tie-dye swirly look, mix the yogurt and blended fruit together very lightly. Don’t fully combine them to get patches of white yogurt and patches of fruity specks.

Pour into molds (you can even use a muffin pan if you don’t have popsicle molds).  Add extra whole fruit as you like, and a popsicle stick for fun. Let freeze and enjoy!
