Contest Runs from November 1 – 30
As the flu season approaches the U.S., and in Arizona particularly, health experts are warning that our health care systems may become strained while caring for flu patients on top of COVID-19 patients. This means that if someone contracts either of these, it could become extra difficult to provide the necessary resources to care for everyone. This is why it’s more important than ever to get your flu shot this year.
As we continue to care for our most vulnerable population within the walls of their own homes, including the elderly and those with underlying conditions who are more susceptible to both the flu and COVID-19, we are encouraging all of our direct care workers to get their flu shots this year.
Maricopa County is making it easier for residents to find free to reduced cost flu vaccinations. Community flu vaccination events will be held across the county, and three health clinics, which are open to the public. Flu Shot Incentive and Prize Drawing
As an incentive, Home Assist Health is excited to announce a weekly drawing for a $25 gift card through the month of November to cover the cost of your flu shot. Please provide any paperwork or itemized receipt from your doctor, pharmacy or other provider between September 1 and the end of November via email to [email protected]. We will add all of this documentation to your employee profile and everything you send to us will be kept confidential. Winners will be announced each Friday in November on our Friday Coffee Talk Facebook Live events at 11 a.m. Winners will also be notified each week via phone. All employees are eligible for this incentive.
