Congratulations to Savannah Abbott, who has been selected as our Caregiver of the Month for August! Savannah has been with Home Assist Health since January 2023, and initially got into caregiving because of a family member. Her advice to someone who is considering getting into this field is to expect the unexpected, but to always embrace being patient and compassionate. She also said to keep in mind you are going to learn from everyone that you meet, and they are going to learn from you.
When Savannah is not working, she likes going to church, spending time with friends, reading and most of all trying new things. This includes trying new foods, new places and new experiences. Her favorite food is pizza, and her favorite restaurant is Blackberry Café. Her favorite book to read is the Bible and her favorite hobby , when the weather is less stifling, is golfing. Her favorite colors are red and purple.
