Home Assist Health is proud to announce accessible caregiver training for all of our employees for 2020. With social distancing measures and everything related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to ensure that each and every caregiver has access to the right training to meet annual state requirements. We are excited to announce the roll out of In The Know, an online based training to ensure employees stay up to date on key trainings that are vital to the success of our organization.
“We understand that the quality of our services are highly dependent on the quality of our caregivers,” said Sara Wilson, CEO and president. “That’s why training is a top priority for us.”
Our mission is to provide the best possible care to our members so they can fulfill their desire to age safely in place, therefore, training for our caregivers is paramount. Offering paid, consistent and practical training is one way we can keep all of our caregivers engaged with the most optimal skills. We are excited to see all of you learn and grow by using e-learning!
The specialized programs of In the Know aid in meeting Arizona State requirements.
Specialist programs focus on common conditions caregivers encounter with their clients. For example, the Caregiver Specialist Training in Alzheimer’s Disease provides eight hours of training that focuses solely on caring for clients with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Upon completion, the caregiver will be well-equipped to meet all his/her clients’ Alzheimer’s and dementia care needs. Learners who complete the learning path receive a badge and certificate that designates them as a Specialist in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care.
Other learning paths include infection control, behavioral health and palliative care. Please contact Training or email [email protected] to learn more about how to gain access to these specialized paths.
