As the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance payments are coming to an end in AZ, there are new Return to Work Bonuses available from AZ State DES!
A $2,000 bonus is being offered for full-time employees, or those who work 32-40 hours per week and work 320 hours or more during the first 10 weeks of their qualified job.
A $1,000 bonus is being offered for part-time employees, or those who work 16-20 hours per week and work 160 hours or more during the first 10 weeks of their qualified job.
These bonus opportunities only apply to individuals currently receiving unemployment/jobless benefits through AZ DES. Eligible application submissions begin July 10, 2021. New employment must begin between May 13, 2021 through September 6, 2021 to qualify.
Additional benefits available through Arizona’s Back to Work Program include:
– Childcare for those working 40-hour work weeks in their first 10 weeks back to work
– GED fees and exam fees for eligible workers without high school diplomas.
– Community college continuing education scholarships.
