February 2, 2018

Home Assist Health CEO Sara Wilson (left) and Associate Director of Community Relations Penny Matteson accept the 3rd Annual E75 Diversity Builder Award on January 26, 2018.

Alongside Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., FedEx, Hyatt, Wells Fargo and Ability 360, Home Assist Health was honored by the Arizona Governor's Council on Blindness & Visual Impairment with a E75 Diversity Builder Award recognizing our commitment to an inclusive workplace. Over 70% of individuals that are blind/visually impaired are unemployed, and we are proud to be recognized for our work in helping to close that gap.

The E75 Diversity Builder Award is awarded annually to local organizations that employ the visually-impaired population in Arizona.  To learn more about the award and equal employment opportunity efforts for the blind and visually impaired by the Governor’s Council on Blindness and Visual Impairment, please watch a short, informative video below.  You can also find more information here.
